Sally's wild adventure's as a single mom who holds her world together with a staple gun, is now a short story called "It's All Good," published in "Not Your Mother's Book on Home Improvement" published by Dahlynn and Ken McKowen (writers for the Chicken Soup for the Soul Series) who now have their own company, Publishing Syndicate.
The Four Bitchin' Babes are aging along with their audiences, and so must the songs! On this the Babes ninth recording, Sally's songs "Woulda, Coulda, Shoulda" "Boy On Wheels" and "The Table" speak of promises not kept, boys who turn into men who can't sit still, and the shift of seats at the family table when the elder generation passes. True stories turned into real songs, taken from real life.
JINGLE BABES . . AN EVENING OF SHARED MUSICAL TRADITIONS AND BAD HOLIDAY SWEATERS!
It's a crazy making time of year, and so the Babes offer a seasonal show of clever comedy and classy caroling. With Deirdre's "Christmas Sweater Song" the girls decided to dress the part. As the team's Jewish Girl (Born on Christmas Day), Sally created her own Hannukah Hoodie. She turned a $16 velor sweat shirt from Target into a piece of Judaic Art! Kinda.
JUST ONE ANGEL, A BRAND NEW HOLIDAY COMPILATION
Once again, New York City Folk Goddess, Christine Lavin, produces a gift of a Holiday CD with Sally on board to help hold down the Jewish end of things! After years and years of people commenting on her unfortunate birthday, Sally was thrilled to finish her "Jewish Kid Born on Christmas Day Talking Blues" Yep, that's right. It's six minutes of flat picking guitars and girl-whining in a bluesy style.
